First Week Highlights

After my first week at University, it was not like anything I had expected or prepared myself for. I definitely was unaware of how independent and diligent we are expected to be with our learning and achievements. I have made a few rooky errors that I’m sure I will not have to make again! Highlights include getting lost and being late to lectures and tutorials, not checking emails as diligent as I should have, and most importantly not checking blackboard for any new assessments we are expected to have completed by the next tute! I guess the first week really is a learning experience in itself! This week has also been quite challenging with moving into college and balancing new friendships and university commitments, as well as co-curricular activities such as music and sport at the same time! I have thoroughly enjoyed Cromwell College’s atmosphere, which has encouraged me to try out for as many sports that I know about or can play! I have even surprised myself with the amount that I’ve managed to pick up on in so little time!
